I'm pretty sure the subheading was written by AI. The actual article is complaining about women writing gay stuff for women. Like gay man haven't been writing women for men for centuries.

And yet our infant mortality rate is has gone down significantly since formula was invented.
Meth, sure. Antidepressants, antibiotics. Chemo. If formula's bad for the child, then the mother must be forced to feed it breastmilk, no matter how it affects her health.

Sometimes formula is better. Sorry. That's science. What the mom puts in her body goes to the baby and that's not always healthy. Will we ban all breastfeeding mothers from getting healthcare because "breast is best"?

Also, you're missing the bigger picture. This is a prelude to RFK Jr. regulating who can and can't have formula based on his criteria, without considering the reality of who can and who can't breastfeed.

Randos on the internet who think they're "open to science" because they read a paper once is exactly how we ended up with RFK Jr. Breastfeeding does have advantages over formula, but formula is perfectly healthy if the parent has access to clean water.

The problem is who decides what is "necessary". It needs to be the birthing parent and their family and medical practitioner, not RFK Jr. or some rando on the internet.

No, this is entirely relevant here. Saying "you can replace an incubator with a mother's chest" and "you can replace formula with a mother's milk" both completely ignore that these things are frequently not true.

Yeah, I'm unclear on how giving him everything he wants and telling him everything he wants to hear while people do things on his name that he would enthusiastically support is abuse. Putting him in middle-class memory care would be his idea of hell.

He's being used, but he's also getting his every whim catered to. It may be elder abuse, but he's not the one suffering. He's not the one being tortured or disappeared or murdered.
Yeah, he's being manipulated, but he couldn't be used like this now if he hadn't lived like this his whole life.

In California you can qualify for EBT benefits that allow you to use them for fast food- if you're in a situation where you can't cook, like being unhoused. So yeah, let's give homeless people a sack of flour and a dozen raw eggs.
