i think i don't really acknowledge the fact that having it pointed out that i'm doing poorly impacts my mental a lot. i think i try to tell myself it doesn't because i do want feedback and criticism and opportunities to improve but in-the-moment I still have kind an invisible emotional reaction.

I'm not super happy with what I accomplished splatoon-wise in 2025 but I guess I did do the two things I said I would do, which was to continue to try out new weapons and roles (even if I ultimately decided they just weren't for me), and 5-star another weapon (I did two).

it's really just so cool & one of my favorite things to get to listen in on friends practicing/getting coaching/discussing tactics. and part of me so badly just wants to get back on an active team asap but I know I probably need to work on myself first.
