That's pretty messed up, yeah, geez.

You push a button on it to activate Kanabō Mode with protruding spikes!

If only we could all be so fortunate.

Clearly we need a gigantic tortilla to get through this crisis.

The game just obliterates me nowadays, but back between my Gamecube dying and the Wii coming out, I imported a copy and played it every day and got, uh, kinda good at it.

I never did get the Perfect Earth Defense bonus...

Wow, that's rancid. I'm reminded of when I got the entire Corel suite for next to nothing off Humble Bundle and I wound up getting rid of all of it because it started popping ads up on my desktop. PSP was unwieldy, ran like absolute ass, and was prone to crashing, too.

You'd think 1024x1024 would be severely limiting, but with efficient use of space you could do a whole lot with it. I don't think any server ever really came close to running out of space, though it helped that at the game's most popular the server had a player cap of like 80 people.

Such areas included Elysium (a private space for mid-high level admins), a monster room with lineups of NPCs, spaces for experimenting in Build Mode, and in fan servers admins often had their own personal offices. Mine was done up like a cozy cabin with a fireplace. Good times...

My favorite MMORPG was the first type, in an isometric view. The entire game world fit inside 1024x1024 tiles, and all of the space outside of playable areas was known as Greenland because the default floor tile was, well, green. There were hidden areas where admin could go, too, via teleport...

The hospital really is a funny little adventure, as long as you don't spend too long there.

Hooray!!

Oh okay good, my fancy disintegrating boss death animation can go in reverse now.

It's not too bad! It'll sting when they put it in, truthfully, but once it's in any pain fades pretty quick. If anything the worst part is just having a sometimes-cumbersome tube around.

It may help some if you just look away as they do it, too.

God I'm dumb, I didn't even consider the possibility of it being a FF8 joke and now I'm slowly doing a pixelated dissolving effect with static-y rumbling noises as we speak

I don't get the love for bright blue cloudless skies. They're boring and--around here at least--oppressively hot and humid, and obnoxiously bright. It's like the weather equivalent of an iPhone ad or something.

Gray, cloudy, misty... That's the world being alive, to me.

There's a part of me that immediately wants to leap into, "Here's my advice!"--but if you wanted to solicit advice you'd say as much, and probably directly to a particular friend at that.

Besides, maybe you wish to learn to pull out a gun. I'm not a gun wizard!
