AGSMA - Doce Doce Amanhã

Jack of all trades, sometimes not knowing jack.
Director of Dog Biscuits, currently working on a music video.
@kekeflipnote.bsky.social's plush arrived while I'm currently out for college, and the gardener is afraid of my dog Bolota.
This photo he took makes her look like she took the plush hostage.

Today would've been the 100th anniversary of painter, writer and paleontologist Miguel Barbosa. Apart from his talent and dedication, Barbosa also filled a role as a maternal grandfather for me, despite not being related.
His legacy lives on, with a museum and a genus of pterosaur named after him.

Well, this is a first for me.
What happened?

Alda Rosa, pioneer of graphic design in Portugal, has sadly passed away last night at age 89.
Not only a notable (and dare I say, underdog) figure in the arts, but a loveable and funny person, of which I am fortunate to have met in person, let alone being his relative.
We're gonna miss you, Alda.

Snail fans, time to guess which species this one is.
At first I believed it was a limpet, only for the eyes to come out and reveal that this snail either has a sick camouflage or an unfortunately dirty shell.

3. Goodfellas: final image.
4. Cape Fear: Max Cady's first appearance.
5. Killers of the Flower Moon: the Osage indians dancing at petrol rain.

Really happy with the winners of this year's Cinanima.

Not taking much attention at this year's selection at Cinanima, but so far I found out some bangers.

I think we can all collectively agree that The Substance is Gen Z's own Face/Off.

Word! I'm currently watching a Q&A with Jafar Panahi himself.

All you need to do was to keep your word, Paul. (he spent the next three months or so churning out junk on his FB account)

Urchin is a very solid directorial debut. One of my most anticipated movies, and the final product, while not for everyone, is intriguing enough.
The Q&A with Frank Dillane was mostly spent on praising Dickinson's directing, and how adamant he was in not showing London's landmarks in the film.

Brazilian actor Wagner Moura on the presentation of his directorial debut, and controversial biopic, Marighella (2019), at Leffest.

Or, should I say, HALLOWSCREAM!

I misread it as "frog cube" and I immediately thought of this relic.

Anyone here expert on fungi?
I'm looking for the name of this species of lichen on iNaturalist, but given its huge database and my unfamiliarity with the fungi taxonomy, it's being quite a hefty research.
