Thought experiment: suppose Russia compromised an American politician and managed to get him elected president. What would Putin get him to do that would be significantly different from what Trump is doing? Serious question. Even if the answer is nothing, that wouldn’t prove anything

Well now that Republicans are okay with Federal government interference in state level politics and handing the private data of citizens to unelected billionaires, I look forward to the next Dem president doing exactly those things.

I can clearly see the writing on the wall as Trump and Elon follow the Orban playbook. They will definitely keep trying to crush dissent by coopting corporate leaders and to expand their disinformation bubble before the midterms. It’s scary as hell. Does anyone think they will fail at their efforts?

I’ve always been a “reply guy” on Twitter, not because I lack ideas but rather because I never cultivated a following and didn’t want to talk to myself. I decided I’ll start posting here though: I really need to vent as I watch America voluntarily thrash the American experiment
