@linkerm.bsky.social i'm in the archives and looking at your original print of this! I thought you'd like to see 😊 I was hoping there'd be a notation about which year, but haven't been able to confirm

Congrats to the nearly 5,000 Aggies getting their Aggie Rings this week! Here's a little physics experiment from @aggienetwork.bsky.social -- @tamu.bsky.social's Dr. Tatiana Erukhimova helped us explain the phenonemon, and that's my hand doing the spinning 😊

Northgate's looking a little different, if you've been gone over the summer

"If Aggies do it twice, it's a tradition" is a much older sentiment than I realized! This is 1947 😊

(specifically, Feb. 7, 1947, in the Battalion. howdy from the archives!)

So happy that I'm getting Miss Reveille's raincoat into the July issue of Texas Aggie magazine 🥰🐾 Keep your eyes peeled in July for our "Guide to Corps Uniforms"!

Howdy from the archives, Aggies! Love this fall 1949 ad in the Batt 😍

Top "hillbilly" records in 1949 would have included Hank Williams, Eddy Arnold and Ernest Tubb 🤠

Conveniently located at the "North Gate"!

Update and new nest: Four baby wrens successfully launched from the kleenex box, and still return to the back porch for food! Now, a different wren nest has appeared in the garage 🤣🤣

New from me: Because I am a John Wayne/John Ford cavalry trilogy nerd!

What order do you watch them in? This article has four chronologies (real history, film order, short stories, internal dates)

PLUS how to tell if John Wayne is the same character in all of them 🤠 sues-news.com/2025/05/25/c...

A great crowd, a great meal (with desserts by the Aggie Moms) and great Muster chairs (new friends!) at the Coleman County Aggie Muster, where I was the Muster speaker tonight. The Muster is dismissed until April 21, 2026 ❤️🕯️👍

Paris, 1945: 80 years ago today, one of the largest Aggie Musters ever held outside the United States took place as the end of World War II was coming into sight.
It was a privilege to write this story!
