Much to my chagrin, it appears that the Grogu Crocs are the champs in my search of a pair of rubber shoes/boots that can stand up to chicken, peacock, and now duck shit and mud. It’s been over a year and they’re not falling apart yet!

If I could get a little closer to the goal for this month, I’ll be able to get a few bales of straw to put down on the swamp that is currently developing around the ducks’ kiddie pool before it snows/gets actually cold.

Y’all. After only being asleep less than an hour, I got this shelter in place message from the Denver Police for a neighborhood an hour south of my location. They never sent a second message that it was safe to come out of the house. 🤷🏻♀️

All the birds were back in the aviary, and then Queen’s “Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy” started playing. Only the roosters came out, walked a circle around me, and went back in. Birds are weird. Didn’t get Clark in the video, he was too far behind me.
