I got myself a blind winder so I could get natural light in the early mornings to help me wake up. Anyway it's been a dark halflight cloud cover in Edinburgh for about 5 days, when I get out of bed at 9am it's still as dark as 7am and I'm so close to gnawing my arm off from the mood drops 🥲

... to all communications, and he was saying this indicated kids could only think in binary positive and negative emotions, so that's where they needed to be met at. It's just so absurd because any kid I know that reacts 👍 to a message with no other follow up is probably wishing suicide upon you.

Anyway flat prices in Edinburgh are absurd. My old landlord bought the 1-bed probably for around £80k in 2005, and now it's work for £175-190k in 2025 (plus all the rent collected from it the last decade+)

... , and that the USA market might not even exist (in the way that it has) for much longer. Everyone doing business right now is hedging their bets between "Everyone goes back to how it was a decade ago" or "The world as we know it dies and a new age of fascism is born".
