The significance of the 'Early majority' was discussed in detail at our National Conference. The uptake of electric passenger vehicles in Australia will hinge on popular segments and new models. Particularly models subject to tax concessions.

It's possible for a dealership to sell a petrol dirt bike which cannot be ridden on the road unless it's licensed as such. However, at least the dealership might keep a record of the chassis and engine number. Won't stop dingbats from riding them where they shouldn't though.

If construction starts under one iteration of the code, it's only obliged to follow that version. So there is no reason to be pausing any progressive improvements.

And lithium? That incredible metal - the lightest in the universe, is pretty damn abundant. In fact one small mine in Southwest Western Australia provides around a quarter of the world's battery grade Li. The kids will be fine.

Unfortunately for the DR Congo, cobalt consumption is flatlining - the world uses far less of it for batteries than ever before. We would dearly love to see the Congolese people prosper from their mineral wealth, and invest in their people and future.
