Sometimes I just get hit with the memory of finding out how early the people involved actually knew about impending climate change. It legitimately knocks the air out of me to acknowledge that we were fucked before I was even born. We just didn’t get to know yet.

Of course it was illegal. But that has never mattered to the ultra wealthy & their SCOTUS familiars. Laws exist for average people, not for those who can pay. We didn’t punish Nixon. We didn’t punish punish Bush or Cheney. There is no reason to believe this president will face any consequences.
