while i do think the way sonic team has handled alternate playstyles in sonic games has been pretty mixed, it's kinda crazy to me how sonic fans can't comprehend the fact that these were a result of sonic being a fast fucking guy and not bc sonic team is a stupid incompetent studio lmfao
