It happened at a barn where I boarded. The guys had just finished stacking the bales and they heard a pop and the whole stack burst into flames. We lost the whole barn and everything in it, but thankfully no horses or people were hurt. So, apparently hay self combustion is a thing, unfortunately.

If it's horses, you can stretch the hay you do have by feeding alfalfa cubes if your feed store stocks them. Just follow the instructions on the bag. I'm so sorry this happened to you!

Wow! I've had them do that to me with a credit card. On one set of back to back business trips, there were so many blocks on my card from car rentals and hotels that I maxed out my limit and couldn't pay for anything with it. It's a dumb policy.

My Mom, 91, is pretty computer and smart phone savvy, but she gets hit with scams all the time. She now knows to shut the thing off and wait until one of us can come help her.

I don't think they shop at Costco anyway. You have to pay for a membership. Although, with MAGA math, maybe the cheap hot dogs offset the membership fee.

They turned Hegseth's address to his generals at Quantico into a mandatory training video everyone in DoD had to watch. At one point, he yells at the audience, "We are the Department of War! We kill people, and we break things". That phrase has haunted me ever since.

That's what happens to me, but with snowstorms. I'm in there with all of the milk-bread-TP panic shoppers, but it's really just me, needing normal milk-bread-TP.
