Hope seems hard to come by, but Francine the Lowe's cat has been spotted alive in North Carolina. When I tell you how much I'm clinging to this, whew.
A calico cat curled up in an egg chair with orange cushions on the Lowe's outdoor furniture showroom floor. This is Francine. UPDATE Lowe's Corporate expressed their deep concern and commitment to finding Francine and bringing her home safely to Richmond, stating Francine is "In the top of our minds" and that "We don't have plans to stop (looking for her) anytime (soon)". We were told that so far on top of the efforts made by the local animal control officer, Lowe's has deployed thermal drones in an attempt to find Francine, and installed two video cameras with thermal alerts to keep an eye out for her. Four more of these cameras are being set up on site today/tomorrow. On Wednesday, 10/8, a nationally recognized animal tracker will arrive to the RDC in hopes of locating Francine. IG @WheresFrancine
