If your power steering flush suddenly turns into foam and whining, that’s cavitation. Stop, refill, bleed it properly. I wrote up the steps here:

Power steering fluid flush day. Two quarts in, mystery fluid out, and the dipstick turned into an emergency plug. No heroics, just less future regret.
