I think America will not only survive the GOP turn to outright fascism but thrive as a result of it because they were always like this. We just expect more now.

IRA was basically green new deal. NRC actually approved a new reactor under Biden. I'm actually still extremely optimistic about American experiment. Trumpian fascism is a small blip from reaction to Biden's developmentalist industrial policy/moral arc of history.

Yes, RUKA also seems to be great, unfortunately it's bit more expensive to build (still nothing in robotics world, but when talking abt hobby side project, AmazingHand seems more reasonable). Also recently came across aero, but their license is not straightforward oss: github.com/TetherIA/aer...
