I think like, the rise in the monetization of the hate of fandom has swollen to be bigger than the actual audience of whatever project or thing there is.
The "woke bad" youtubers are salivating over this. They aren't fans in any good faith, they make money hating things.

I did housing only on launch with my guild, 4 hours went by in what seemed like 5 mins, they absolutely cooked with it.

No I get it, it sounds crazy, the buy in bulk model has been their bread and butter.
We are seeing in this K shaped economy though, the "middle" players are getting crushed (Kroger) while high end and mass discount are doing well. A smaller format store would let them scoop up the middle consumers.

Yeah, we have an antenna (young people seriously do not sleep on HD over the air TV that costs you a 19 dollar TV antenna) a plex server, youtube and disney (I know). That's it. Being able to fall asleep to long format youtube videos is great too (don't judge me lol)

I do, my personal use/ personal computer isn't the issue.
Was trying to explain ; When you have children in the house and you can't adblock their devices, premium is worth it to try and control their ad intake.

I always watch the full video with my premium watch time ( i get it, premium bad but youtube ads are worse especially on any kids content, and i can’t ublock my smart tv or their tablets)

It's one of the few spaces left honestly. I've talked about it before, but watching my peers, employees, bosses, and seemingly everyone just fall under the hypnosis of this tech; it feels like living in the body snatcher movie or something.
