The timing of the Chrome cookie announcement can not be coincidental with the verdict of in Ad Tech anti-trust trial.

However, I can’t figure out if the verdict going against Google had any impact on the content of the announcement or if Google would have announced the same if they had won.

It’s official now: Google illegally tied GAM and AdX together.

As forcing them to be untied is an obvious remedy, we are soon likely to see AdX demand available separately from GAM.

IAB Tech Lab’s Trusted Server project is an unnecessary extra hop in the request flow.

Prebid Server is a better place to add any of functionality proposed.

Can’t help but think this Tech Lab’s strike back at Prebid after their attempted takeover of Prebid.org failed.
