McCo actually sort of makes sense

I have found myself reacting quite strongly to this. He’s not much older than me and he authentically reproduces the excuses anti-Irish playground racists used in English schools 45 years ago. It’s uncannily familiar even if open anti-Irish racism has essentially disappeared almost totally.

Because he’s not brave or honest or mature enough to understand. He’s a 15 year old racist lout locked in the body of a 60 something toad.

Mentally he will be a 15 year old lout for ever, never growing up enough to see the world as it really is. He’s the sort of social parasite who, if he hadn’t gone to public school would have been a football hooligan before jeering black players and saying it was banter into his sixties. 3/3

Open anti-Irish racism has - thankfully - all but disappeared in England but Farage’s words and attitudes take me right back. He’s an unrepentant school bully who refuses to take responsibility for his actions because, frankly, he’s not brave or honest enough and he doesn’t understand. 2/3

Beyond grim

well there won't be any byelections in London now because it's less than six months to go polling day - but the point is: if you are correct then the polls are wrong and badly sampling, and if they've got that wrong, what else have they got wrong?
