Do you know if the series will continue with a different creative team?

Home Again: End Credits evokes such strong feelings in me to this day. Such a fantastic score.

Yeah, its a great frigate analog to the Galaxy-class (if we assume it is a capital ship).

We do not tolerate Excelsior-class bashing in this household. They were the workhorses of the Dominion War.

Oh, she’s an ugly ship too!

Just cause the Borg wrecked a bunch of ships at Wolf 359 is no excuse for designing ugly ships.

It literally has ONE kinds good angle. Thats it 🤷🏻‍♂️

“Peacetime patrol” 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Yeah, that is one of those things that "looks" cool, but it incredibly impractical, lol.

Well, countries develop new warships and fighters in peacetime in the real world as well. Again, it is just a matter of personal preference. I just would love a story that gives the T-70 a proper "introduction" to the New Republic Era.

Personally, I'd love the T-70 to be an outgrowth of the lessons the NR learn during the Thrawn Campaign. Basically, the older T-65 is showing its age and the E-wing is too underarmed/underpowered, so Incom develops the T-70.

4th and 5th generation fighter aircraft are used for decades (albeit with upgrades) in the real world, so in my mind that isn't out of the ordinary in the GFFA.

I guess it really depends on how much more "advanced" the T-70 is. Is it an F-22 to an F-15? Or a Super Hornet to a Hornet?

Ehh, they say the last war "ended" at Endor in TROS, so I don't get too bothered by those types of comments. Easy enough to chalk up to Endor being just so damned significant, the "begining of the end", so to speak.

Personally, I wish the T-70 wasn't name dropped in Empire's End. To early, IMO.

I see the nu-canon E-wing and D-wing both being marketed heavily to the planetary security forces. Alongside the BTA-NR2 Y-wing that lacked torp launchers.

Actually, not I am curious as to when the BTA-NR2 first showed up into service.

That is why I love this thing. It is so impractical and goofy, but still has a certain charm.
November 17, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Exactly! A small, lightly armed, fast starfighter that was mass marketed to the PSF of the New Republic member worlds.
