This is very very sad cope from a politically incoherent and literacy incompetent, bitter old man.

I want you to know, I feel sorry for you. You are little more than a predictable and expected symptom of our political, economic and social reality.

I don't care who's education is inferior. You brought that up.
I never said I won't make personal attacks, you started the insults so I returned in kind.

You couldn't respond to my counterpoints and chose insults and devolving the conversation. And you've demonstrated poor reading comprehension.

Whatever, you're not interested in acting like an adult and having a real conversation. Or you would have responded to what I said rather than continuing to devolve the conversation. I'm going to mute you now. Best of luck to your child/children, they'll need it.

You're a father, yet here you are acting like more of a child than some kids I know. We've gone so far off topic from the original post. I'm off my ADHD meds today, but even I think this is ridiculous.

Why are you putting my name in speech marks?

So you're supposedly, both the epitome of education and the proletariat class, not impossible, but incredibly unlikely.

To be honest though it's not like it matters, you don't seem to be very good at showing it with your constant personal attacks.
January 24, 2026 at 1:25 PM
Well that would explain your poor reading comprehension. But I was attacking your poor example, not how working class you are.
January 24, 2026 at 1:20 PM
I never said it was. But anecdotal it is, undeniably, as you speak of your grandparents. Ignorant, yes, because the conditions you speak of are not gone entirely.

You bring up working in a Tesco? As if that represents the lowest bar of working conditions today?

You have a child, don't act one.
January 24, 2026 at 1:14 PM
Though I'd add, your example is anecdotal and ignorant. There are people, now, who work twelve hour shifts, our conveniences require slaves, there are people who's bathrooms are inadequate or broken, there are people who cannot afford heating. You may be better off, but you speak for yourself.

Again, this post is talking about rent and wages. Nobody is contesting that general living and working conditions have improved.
January 24, 2026 at 12:50 PM
“better off” is vague and doing very heavy lifting, where this post is talking about something specific, how capitalists still make us struggle by squashing us between low wages and increased rent, and in that sense, nothing has changed and we are not better off.
