2 PBM accumulator programs – Express Scripts and others sometimes block manufacturer payments from counting toward your deductible. That means you pay full freight even though the coupon “covered” it.
3 Formulary tier or prior-auth changes – The PBM can move the drug to a different cost tier midyear or demand a new authorization, making the price spike until it’s reapproved.
4 Pharmacy fill channel – A refill at Walgreens retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy can trigger totally different pricing rules.

Great afternoon of hockey at Union’s new home. They did well against the #1 team coached by hockey royalty. They’ve kept tix prices down ($10 adult $5 kids) but food prices will have us sneaking snacks in next time 😮

Few pics of Loki as didn’t need to feed or clean up after him today unfortunately. Bit sad but feel good we didn’t prolong the decision like we did with a couple of cats last year. Poor daughter - born into an older animal house. There will be some kind of kitten soon I’m sure. Better live 20 years!

Few pics of Loki as didn’t need to feed or clean up after him today unfortunately. Bit sad but feel good we didn’t prolong the decision like we did with a couple of cats last year. Poor daughter - born into an older animal house. There will be some kind of kitten soon I’m sure. Better live 20 years!
But the language and framing used being the same really jumped out at me. Maybe Clinton was making a very clever reference I just didn’t get - doubt it but maybe.
