Een vrouw van ongeveer 20 jaar kwam donaties te verzamelen voor Amnesty. Ze vroeg of ik 30 jaar of ouder ben om mee te doen of zo (rare regel maar oké). Ik antwoordde jawel, ik ben al 36. Ze zei "wuau echt?" Ik snap echt niet hoe ze anders kon denken want volgens mij zie ik er toch niet zo jong uit…

Vanmorgen terwijl mijn vrouw en ik aan het ontbijten waren, zag ik opeens een grote spin die stilletjes op mijn stoel kroop. Mijn vrouw schreeuwde. De hond probeerde hem op te eten :(

Working on a little ASCII art editor. This is something that I wished existed (and that I'd even needed for my own job at times) and as usual, decided to make my own because... reasons. It is not out yet, but currently supports:
- basic editing
- generating a preview script
- save/load
- basic editing
- generating a preview script
- save/load

At one point in my teenage years, being the unbearable putz that I still am, I began to seek out increasingly stranger and novel music. I am now listening to White Light / White Heat and I'm quite certain that that is what originally radicalized me around age 16.

Additional Kraftwerk take: Kraftwerk cannot create new materials because their materials can only truly be born in an age where modernist ideas were relevant and in vogue within the discourse. Kraftwerk cannot truly make a new album in this environment.

Another Kraftwerk take: a (German!) colleague described Kraftwerk as "some techno act from many years ago" and that still haunts me. Techno! Kraftwerk predates the idea of techno and also I already expressed my gesamtkunstwerk take (which I stole from Uwe Schütte)
I am going with friends to see Kraftwerk tonight. You know what that means: I get to info dump how Kraftwerk more so than a musical act is in fact a gesamtkunstwerk and groundbreaking in fact in that way

An acquaintance was telling me that LLMs are saving a ton of work and told me his elaborate CV optimization workflow to send highly tailored CVs to get those interviews by asking two separate LLMs: one writing, one acting as HR to filter him out.
