Crunchy VGA resolution couldn't diminish the coolness of Tyrael's wings in the ending of Diablo 2: LoD. They moved like silk, and the translucency on their body was just perfect.
The Last Unicorn also up here as THE unicorn design to beat.

Another one is tripe soup ("ciorbă de burtă"), which sounds and looks terrible, but I love it. (my partner also dislikes how much sour cream and vinegar we use when we make it, and that makes me laugh each time I get it)

Also wanted to specifically gush about all the little detailing on clothing and backgrounds. It honestly feels nostalgic in a way.
Also also the way you draw underground/dark areas and especially whenever the demon shows up. The way it looms over scenes is really cool.

This got me curious to try and see my Hroth compared to base, and uh.... yeah. The thigh as large as their base torso however I am very happy about.
