You can watch Original Mobile Suit Gundam or try anything you want. The only thing that’s super important timeline wise is later UC stuff! If you’d like something silly may I suggest the Build series

Yeah really anything before 2010 is gonna have some issues but I’ve always found that issues that the community usually complains about aren’t that bad
