It was fun owning until it wasn't anymore. Good thing is the plane doubled in resell value, so we sold up.

*each sheet has a column for incidentals: stuff you might need in the cockpit or flight bag. Sub categories for both fixed and variable costs are also included, example: planned maintenance versus unplanned, etc.

I keep a simple excel file with a sheet for every year, tracking fixed and variable costs and a dedicated summary sheet showing totals and trends overtime. Bit of a pain to input fuel receipt information every time you fuel up, but worth it.
