Back from #4S conference!

Met amazing folks and presented an extension of my Tonii project that questions how we build a practice towards enacting values we aspire to embody, that are foundational to a more human experience. This involved creating an altar and movement ritual in augmented reality.

Some photos from Glitch photobooth at the Bolster Arts benefit at All street gallery.

Glitch Photobooth explores feminist cyborg theory through AI and AR. By inviting audiences to engage with their inner glitch, the photobooth disrupts binary logic, and embraces the fluidity of identity.

Never pass up a reminder to drink water 💧 🩵
It's a beautiful day in the A(TL)! Sending positive energy and vibes.

#BlackSky Here is your random reminder to:

- Go drink water
- Take 10 slow deep breaths
- Hum for a minute
- Literally laugh out loud
- Call or text someone you haven't spoken to in 3 months, but you value the relationship

Dont usually participate but felt compelled to write this email on a local parents thread, in response to nasty comments thrown at someone trying to organize conversation and action amongst white women moms. It was really disappointing, any other folks experiencing this in their local networks? 📧😢

I’m just at this point….

People watched qualified Blaxk and Brown people be overlooked all the time in “liberal spaces” and barely tweeted past

“But time “ and we need “credentials”

So why are they shocked the GOP does the same thing

"If what you want is a centrist campaign that's quiet on trans issues, tough on the border, distances itself from Palestinians, talks a lot about law and order, and reaches out to moderate Republicans, that candidate existed and she just lost."

— John Oliver on Dems moving right/left
just a reminder that john oliver did better in a condensed 60 seconds to defend trans rights and trans people than the entire democratic party in a 6 month campaign.

From a voting perspective, black women specifically almost can’t vote any harder, or organize any harder.

I’ve talked to Black PACs that only received 1/3 to half the funding they got in 2020 for getting out the vote. Yet we’re expected to pull off miracles with less resources.
