Saturdays with my daughter are my reset button.

This morning we slipped away to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, still one of the most magical places in California, no matter how many times we visit. Watching her eyes light up at the jellyfish display reminds me: wonder is a skill worth protecting.

When children lose access to early childhood support because of shutdowns and partisan fights, the weakest among us suffer and the entire nation pays the price.
We need leaders who prioritise equity, care and community investment to protect our kids and our future.

Sunday morning: coffee in hand, a moment of pause before next week’s sprint.
