This was a joke prize on the 2003 Micallef Tonight segment, Darrods Wheel.
After I moved to Melbourne in 2009 I came across numerous rentals (over the years), that had cookers similar to this 1950's model. As someone who grew up with a modern stove top, it was a bit of a shock.
