Dorky cinephile, aspiring filmmaker, Associate Producer of an actual dang upcoming film(!!), professional procrastinator. They/Them
ONLY in times like this would a slimeball like the one in charge of "Paramount" still for whatever reason have a change for his tantrums to work out rather than be laughed out of existence like it should be.

WB should be with Netflix, otherwise they shouldn't be bought at all.

OK, is there literally anywhere you can rewatch "Earth to Ned" eps? I really dug that show and Disney removed it from Disney+ with no fanfare and I only just learn't now. Never watched Season 2 but definitely enjoyed what I watched of Season 1.

God, streaming services SUCK.

#TheMuppetShow's return was freaking fantastic, btw, please check it out! Here's hoping they actually do that full series, this rocked.

The latest movie to Aestheticise Mental Health Struggles and Trauma to the barking delight of neurotypical cinephile pundits. Despite great casting, often lovely cinematography and wild needle-drops, a major disappointment. #DieMyLove

A ★★½ review of Die My Love (2025)
...man, guess who decided to watch the new "Muppet Show" ep *before* watching this rather than after, like a sensible person would, and now regrets that order choice! Was one of the LFF films from las...

...guess I'm gonna be the one to say it.

Given the reputation, you'd think Illumination wouldn't just cast the exact same anonymous guy to do Yoshi as who's always voiced Yoshi but nooooooooo.

This is not important at all but it feels a little TOO in-justice, y'know? Haha.

I don't want to rally behind a movie or a film franchise I just have interest in rather than feel I wanna revolve my whole life around because the status quo irritates me. It's exhausting and silly.

And I really dislike feeling like I keep having to do it.

I'm not a die-hard fan of the "Avatar" movies, but I'm interested in them.

But what I really don't like is talking about this stuff online and being pillowed between the same kind of nerd-rule objectivist "I was told not to like this so I won't like it" philosophizing.

That shit annoys me so much.

#AvatarFireandAsh makes up for slightly less pronounced "wow" moments with the most successful amount of emotional depth and successful characterisations this franchise has had yet. Measure your expectations, but even with some flaws, it's the franchise's new highpoint letterboxd.com/adeioctober/...
A ★★★★ review of Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025)
Ever since 2010, months after "Avatar" made box-office history, the internet turned on it. Echoes of critiques of its derivativeness here, echoes of not gelling with the theatrical 3D experiences it p...

I'm SICK AND TIRED of hearing about the same rogue's gallery of people get all the attention they crave while always getting away with the awful things they do

When someone goes "Stop them", someone should. No more shaudenfreud, no more shrugs, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Our rules should be their's too.

The nature of massmedia acquisitions, via Paramount's behaviours over not getting Warner Bros. like they want, speaks to a foundational lack of respect of why these companies exist.

They don't want to nurture creativity and meaning, they want to rape the media we consume just because they can.
January 12, 2026 at 5:58 PM
While Warner Bros. shouldn't of been sold off at all, I still really hope Netflix gets them between the choice of them and Paramount as they are now.

The idea of the whole of WBD going to Paramount just to satisfy the worst people in the world fills me with dread beyond words.
January 12, 2026 at 5:52 PM
The fact that I keep feeling Dread before revisiting "Avatar: The Way of Water" in a way I hadn't felt before revisiting the first "Avatar" doesn't bode well but I'm gonna try. @.@ Gonna mean I'll be in VR a LOT tonight but hey, haha.

My heart absolutely sunk hearing about the death of Rob Reiner just now. Not just because it's a huge loss, given what a versatile talent he was, but for how he was forced out of this world. He absolutely did not deserve to go out that way.

His movies and legacy will live on far into the future.

Now, I don't think Warner Bros. getting acquired right now is ideal in any case, given its obvious what the shithead CEO wanted all along...

...but at this point, fuck Paramount Skydance for being such sore losers, I hope they don't get shit. The spoiled nepo con-artists if the world need a loss.
December 8, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Regarding the news of Netflix acquiring Warner Bros., like...

1) I'm just glad Paramount-Skydance aren't the ones getting them

and

2) While not ideal that this happened at all, so long as the current guy in charge fucks off then hooray? Maybe?

Currently preserving the entirety of a dorky cable network Christmas music video countdown because 1) As one of the MTV music networks here, it's going to be nuked in the New Year and 2) The segments with Noddy Holder are unhinged as hell and HAVE to be preserved.

I bumped back into one of the old photos that my parents took of Kid-Me and rediscovered that I created my own mascot platformer concept at 6 or 7-years-old...for Acclaim too, for some reason. xD

Let me introduce you to..."BANG THE CLOCK". (Face drawn over for privacy, ofc)
