If it’s a playlist someone else made then you’re all good

Spotify has DMs now, plus a friend-ing feature

If you post a link to a playlist that you made, I’m sure most people here would be normal about it but technically there is a way to do bad stuff with it (your username is attached to public playlists)

Yes, don’t post it

I think since it’s “planned obsolescence for software” it might be fine? I wonder if other people are even online enough to notice an app getting worse. With your phone it’s obvious it got slower or the battery sucks

(Not a scientist or whatever but) to my understanding you can’t guarantee it will cycle back in the same area, which is underlying the main “uses water” complaint. Also it’s not like people don’t know there’s a water cycle, but if there’s more demand and utility prices go up people get mad

That it will be 2 years since this video, pretty quickly, is making me have a moment

I did receive a note to look up the work of ED Hirsch so I’m gonna go study that to make sure I have more context

He got ChatGPT to “confirm there’s a conspiracy” bc a lot of the court docs have “matching elements when hashed” so they were/are fakes being duplicated across the backend of the doc storage system

He scraped about 3,000 of the docs to prove it, which you can assume didn’t make the court too happy

One of the court docs was an invoice/payment summary of about $200k so clearly he was skilled in his field, it’s just that on the side, he was probably always somewhat predisposed to being this way. Then 2023 happened. And the rest is history

I was reading a court case the other day that somewhat aligns with this. An extremely smart, but seriously unwell, guy filed a patent a couple weeks before Netflix. Then tries to sue Netflix. Then tries to sue his county for “coordinating against him with Netflix”

it seems like some section of libs (not regimecpa) are "handing it to the right" that lowered education reqs is bad. fine. but to fix that, you need a bunch of more money to schools and families, so they have resources to study more. which they oppose

so...?

essentially you end up in a scenario where you:
- decide racism isn't real and it isn't worth changing anything, or
- become a semi-leftist (increase school funding equitably across the board, stop using taxes)
- become a hard leftist (abolish school, or just private schools)
I mean that's not good but doesn't the UC system famously not require standardized test scores?
Meanwhile: "The UC San Diego report notes that more than a quarter of the students who placed into the elementary- and middle-school-level remedial course last year had earned straight A’s in their high-school math classes. Almost all of them had taken advanced math courses in high school." 🎢 ♾️ 🍎

I’ve always wondered if “precalculus” is an American invention or if other countries also stop around that level. I’m fine with pretty much any education change like this, as long as it comes with a bunch of money for:
- teachers
- parents/students
- schools

Otherwise I’m not sure how it happens
