There are two (public) HS kids in my house. Have lots of AP feelings. 1 - not equivalent to a college-level class. 2 - track or don't track. AP = shadow tracking. My kids like that, but non-standardized 'advanced' classes might foster more teacher agency and better, more original courses.

Platform strategy is the key to happiness. I remember in grad school mentioning my standing spot at 14th st to my shrink, and she was like "you stand in the same spot on the platform every time?" and I was like... you don't??

the problem with you repeatedly posting BEA etc is that every time I read it I have to go through the whole thing, which takes some time, and then I have to consider for the millionth time the person from Secaucus who leaves their glasses in their locker during classes (stupid idea) to be smashed.
