Hmm. Can't help but feel this isn't great news for MotoGP/Dorna. Dan added humility and personality to the championship. Achievements can be measured but the then behind-the-scenes workings/circumstances are never easy to fully know. The next CCO appointment will be curious.

Finally confirmed. Brazil will have a MotoGP rider once more. Read an interview/appreciation of Diogo Moreira's talent here at Motorsport Magazine: www.motorsportmagazine.com/articles/mot...

Quite a day in Shanghai. The worst time for Lucas Coenen to have his lowest result of '25 & Romain Febvre stands on the edge of a remarkable 2nd title ten years after the first thanks to a 47 point gap with 60 left to fight for. 3 championships to be decided in AUS this week (pic by Kawi)

Just emerged from the Tech3 MotoGP press conference. Emotional chapter closing for Herve, interesting episode beginning for GS and co. They insist 2026 will be a year to learn but they'll have to be faster than that: teams' agreements with Dorna and the constructor + riders to sort

Love this. Visitors to Barcelona will recognise the Eixample layout and the street tile pattern. MotoGP has been much better, more creative, and more aware with this kind of promo material in 2024 and 2025. Props.

Walked the (wide) service road at Balaton Park. Turn 1/2 could be skittles, Turn 7 is fast with a close wall. I like it though. Interesting deviation for MotoGP. The best riders should be the best on all tracks & for all challenges. It's just track and sky. Fans in grandstands.

New MotoGP workplace this weekend. Heavy Misano vibes (flat, open, temporary feel, close to water, lots of pizza, one main road into the facility).

Stark have announced the new 1.2 version of the VARG motocrosser: new battery, new frame, updated powertrain, and innovative dash smartphone & more. KYB, Brembo & 60hp or 80hp versions plus a two-year warranty on the full bike. I rode the prototype and loved it. Expect to pay less than 12,500k euros

Honda have bagged an important trophy in 2025, and 50% of it was due to this man (pictured). Have a read of my last Motorsport Magazine column about Johann Zarco to discover a bit more about MotoGP's individualistic racer: www.motorsportmagazine.com/articles/mot...

Love it. Yamaha's 70th anniversary livery here at Assen for the track's centennial. I think every MotoGP team should run at least one special livery during the season.

The Mugello MotoGP press room monitors have frozen on an image that seems somehow quite appropriate for 2025 to-date

Views from Mugello yesterday. Steaming hot in Tuscany. San Donato is an amazing place to watch MotoGP speed, bravery and adhesion. Fancy new entry to the paddock as well.

Factory Ducati special 'renaissance' livery for today in Mugello. Love how the Italian MotoGP teams and riders embrace this trend at their home event

Good motocross photograph here by my 16-year-old from the German Grand Prix. It's always energising to see kids find a new little passion for something. Jordi has a decent eye as well.

Shoulder surgery and 2025 evaporates for Tim Gajser. The second time in the last 2.5 seasons he’s had a campaign wrecked by injury. Such poor luck. Thinking of MXGP then this creates an interesting duel between Febvre and Coenen (on current form).

MotoGP footballing at the excellent Aspire Zone and Aspire Academy in Qatar last Thursday. Dreamy pitch, air-conditioned facility with almost 6000 seats.

MotoGP football last night and a very exclusive experience playing in the top-grade facilities of the Aspire Dome. Chipped in with the winning goal.
