Norway Maple 3 Ways: These hollowed vases are all from the same norway maple log (an invasive here, cut as part of @shelburnefarms.bsky.social 's comprehensive forest management plan). Prior to an oil & wax finish, the pieces were (from left to right) charred & burnished, unaltered, bleached.
