I'm honored that "Becoming Mermaids" has been chosen to screen at the first ever Manzanita Film Festival on Sat, Oct 4th! It's part of an incredible lineup of films, and I can't think of a better venue for @kjirstentornfelt.bsky.social gorgeous aquatic animation than a festival at the coast! 📽🎞🌊

during the Wendy Davis protests i entered the capitol building with several female friends. i told the guards i was carrying a concealed firearm and showed them my license. they waved me through without a search.

People living under fascism didn’t survive by giving up joy—they protected it.
