I didn't "hang it all on schumer" I said his public position implies one of two possibilities

i don't eat any ultraprocessed food. Just steak for every meal. that's why I'm so healthy
November 10, 2025 at 9:53 PM
right. in what sense are fries processed? you can just peel a potato and fry it and it'll be as bad for you as if it comes out of a bag

How is the evidence piling up if you can’t even clearly define the term that the evidence applies to
November 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
it's because this is all primarily commercial advertising masquerading as ideology
November 10, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Ddoesn’t seem germane to the factual question of what point the piece is making and whether you should react to a piece before knowing what it says.

I think their desire to have a seamless post gasp transition by changing as little as possible is gonna hurt them and arguably already has

You do not have to comment on something you haven't read.
November 10, 2025 at 4:32 PM
Yeah. I know someone who got fired for sending a promo tweet they didn’t even write

overrepresentation is a statistical fact, the piece itself does not question the qualifications of those women or their value at all. She is not arguing or implying they don't deserve those jobs.
November 10, 2025 at 4:20 PM
slightly demoralizing as a writer to see people reacting to the headline of this piece questioning the premises of the "masculinity crisis" because they think only read the headline and so think it is affirming them
November 10, 2025 at 4:18 PM
black women are overrepresented in federal jobs because the anti-discrimination protects are so strong, and they have indeed been disproportionately affected by Trump's purge. There's nothing racist about that observation at all.
November 10, 2025 at 4:16 PM
I’m not sure you read it
November 10, 2025 at 4:10 PM
You should read the piece
November 10, 2025 at 4:10 PM
everything is "performative" because we're in a social media panopticon where everything becomes free content for our tech overlords so they can be rich and we can get a strangely unfulfilling but addictive form of attention
November 10, 2025 at 4:05 PM
well that settles it. I guess i'll have to read while driving, hopefully nothing goes wrong
