Things are bad right now, but the work continues. I forgot to share this when it came out, but I hope this review article I wrote with @allard-lab-ucla.bsky.social will be useful to both environmental epigeneticists, and worm folks looking to get into the field. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...
Caenorhabditis Elegans as a Model for Environmental Epigenetics
The burgeoning field of environmental epigenetics has revealed the malleability of the epigenome and uncovered numerous instances of its sensitivity to environmental influences; however, pinpointing s...

#HiSciSky I'm a postdoc in Patrick Allard's lab at UCLA. I use C. elegans to study pesticide-induced neurodegeneration and the transgenerational effects of alcohol. I'm also interested in #STS things like the scientific publishing model and the use of metaphors in biology.
