people can dunk on them here and on twitter (i agree with it all btw ), but these institutions are still hitting record numbers. A group of people waking up to/calling out their complicity won’t stop that growth, only hits to the these media companies’ profit centers will.

like they have money which is something the avg media company famously doesn’t have a lot of. Whatever is left of good journalism will be kneecapped by corporate entities unless something changes. and no i don’t believe going independent solves for this. please wake up!!!!

like you can grumble and dunk on these folks all the time on here. it doesn’t change the fact that forces against political journalism and art are building serious power and they’re committed to influencing people on all platforms.

There is a lot of money and serious strategy being put into myth making and normalizing tech overreach. every VC firm has an “editorial” team now.
