I am very aware of the history of FF8 lol. I've been a FF fan for almost 30 years.
My point is the modding community. FF8 absolutely does have a dedicated fanbase, but the point I'm making is that that dedicated fanbase chooses to be greedy instead in a way that FF7 and FF9's aren't. 🙂

And I'm pretty sure should SE find out, it would spell legal trouble? There's no way this can legal to ask people for money to modify their intellectual property.

I played Mario on my brother's NES when I was something like 5 or 6 (1994/1995) so it has to be that. 🤔
As a kid you don't sit and think about, wow, this is the first game you're ever gonna play. You just do it and then you forget about it.
