Active Devon worked with a project in Plymouth offering young people an opportunity to take part in football and multi-sport activities.

This project enables young people to get active in ways that they enjoy.

They have been working hard to create opportunities for people to move more.

This video includes Sport Welfare Officers and representatives from NGBs sharing how this support works in practice — from safeguarding young people and adults, to building connections, strengthening knowledge, and creating welcoming spaces for all.

Supported by Sport England, NGBs, the Child Protection in Sport Unit and the Ann Craft Trust, Sport Welfare Officers provide guidance to clubs, deliver local training, and help embed positive welfare cultures at every level of sport.

In the coming months Georgie will work with the network of 42 #ActivePartnerships to design and deliver an accessible, interactive, and impactful shared learning framework.
