Usually when I think about "let people extend this system with code of their own", the first thing that pops to mind is LUA. But I don't think that fits your requirements.

"Jira ticket" or simply "Ticket". I have very strong feelings against just calling them "Jira", but for no particular reason.

It's a capital intensive industry (but that's normal in AI space, look at openAI, Anthropic, etc), so we'll likely do another round of funding in a couple months, aiming for a 20B valuation"

I'm curious. I did a cursory Google search and couldn't immediately find a good "no-alloc" patterns reference. Do you know of any you would recomend?

Yeah, I think it might have been a combo of:
- pre 1.0
- xTensa uC
- me trying to do wifi on it

I like the general direction things are going there. I might give it another go soon with some of the risc variants.

I've played a bit with the esp HAL, but struggled with how unstable everything was. Dependencies pointing to Git commits, rust version dependencies.
What uC / ecosystem would you recommend for hobbyists getting into embedded using rust?

Aha! Windows connection sharing is still a thing. Now to see if I can get the wifi dongle working

So my debug process while I wait for some hardware is:
1. Hook it to my PC's monitor
2. Set up stuff
3. Move it to where there is wired Internet
4. Look at it wondering while it doesn't work
5. Unplug and go to 1

Yeah, I got unlucky that the Lenovo Tiny I got:
1. The HDMI doesn't work (unsure why yet)
2. It came with a wifi dongle with questionable linux support.

Ok, after reading through the handbook, it's kinda clicking now. I think of a type system as a way to help design the application architecture. JS developers want TS because they want to make JS stop telling them "Why won't you stop hitting yourself?"

Not trying to shit on TS. I'm long overdue to finally understand it, and it feels like my priors around what to expect are probably way off.
