The music department and the OAE had the pleasure of hosting Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Plínio Fernandes last week. Over 150 students were treated to a beautiful cello–guitar piece, followed by an inspiring Q&A where the pair shared stories about their musical journeys.

Y11 history students recently explored the streets of Whitechapel. They learned about the area and Jack the Ripper, then headed to the London Dungeons for the afternoon to find out more about crime and punishment across various periods in English history.

For #AntiBullyingWeek, we reintroduced the idea of an active bystander and asked students to think deeply about power imbalances that occur in society and how this can contribute to bullying and how we can shift this as individuals.
