Von #Oblivion (2006) bis #Skyrim haben wir ca. 5 Jahre gewartet. Wie hätten wir uns wohl gefühlt, wenn wir gewusst hätten, dass wir auch nach 14 Jahren keinen Nachfolger haben würden? (ESO gildet net!) 🫠

#SilentHill ist gut zur Hälfte dekompiliert. Das bedeutet, dass wir uns auf Source-Ports freuen können. Damit wird es dann möglich sein, das Spiel auf dem PC zu spielen. Mit erweiterten Features, versteht sich. 😎

I did this before in Unity.

The first Tomb Raider games featured beautiful water caustics, achieved by manipulating vertex colors. It's one of my favorite PS1 graphics tricks. I just re-created it in a modern engine.

Constraints inspire creativity. 😌

Besonders das Setting, der Kulturelle einschlag, die psychologische Komponente und die Musik treffen bei mir einen Nerv! 🍙

This concept art for Silent Hill : the short message is one of the leaked materials. The official has never released it, if I remember correctly. The Sakura Head in this was the initial version.

I've finally updated my #FlaxEngine build and added Gourard Shading aka. Vertex Lighting to my game.

Obviously a popular choice for retro-styled games, but IMHO still interesting for modern projects due to its low performance costs.
