I can't help but notice those accounts whining loudest about "DEMS CAVING AGAIN AS USUAL" are mostly privileged white men, backed up by a bunch of privileged white women.

You know, the people least likely to be affected either way.
Curious.

BREAKING

The 1st Circuit REJECTS Trump DOJ's request to pause a judge's order to pay up Nov's SNAP funds to the states.

The SCOTUS stay will expire within 48 hours absent further action from the justices, per its terms.

Yes!
If you didn't want to have to choose between health insurance, airports functioning, food stamps, etc you should not have allowed a psychopath to be president.
Don't believe there is some magical good answer when the options are eating sheep s**t or dog s**t.
That is delusional.
Folks are so online they think performance is everything.
But the truth is that elections have consequences.
America gave control of the government to maga last year.
Scotus, White House, Congress.
That is the hard truth.
Keep the government open or closed.
Both options suck.

This.

Folks are pissed off that Republicans made Democrats make a hard decision…after giving republicans power of all 3 branches in November of 2024.

Only 5 or 6 states fully funded SNAP for November and those same states are going to shore up ACA tax credits when lost. All those states are blue.
When people say most white people in america don't understand why racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and xenophobia is bad in america? This is what we mean. Those things doesn't just hurt the people targeted by it. It fucks up people's ability to think logically and morally.

For those who still don't understand...the healthcare tax credits expire December 31, 2025. The Republican plan has ALWAYS been to let it expire.

Coons voted against the Senate bill, but look at his statement on what happens in December. Put PRESSURE on Republicans. It's STILL about them.

Yeah, because the VP can declare war and sign bills? Learn how Civics works and where was your ilk's concern for Sudan? She lost by 1% of the vote from a campaign run in 107 days. A shit candidate is Walter Mondale who only won his own state.

Black women told us what was on the table and the consequences. Y'all wanted to say to play purity games and found out. If Black voters and voters of color played purity games, this country would've sunk long ago. Now WP are mad 6 senators and 1 independent voted for ppl to be paid and eat. 🖕🏽

Tell me you don't know how government works without telling me...
I wanted an exciting outcome, but the dipshit Democrats can't seem to spin themselves out of this neoliberal, centrist spiral they've been in since Bill Clinton.

LOL y'all wouldn't have to worry about Chuck Schumer and the Democrats "caving" had you gone to the polls last November and voted for Kamala Harris.

Trump & MAGA told you they were going to do this, Y'ALL CAVED and want everyone else to scramble in 2025 because you didn't do right in 2024:

Bingo.
I need those ACA subsidies.

My neighbors need food.

I’m not going to fault the only party that wants us to have both for only being able to secure the food.

Be mad at Republicans.
Be mad at your maga family.

Use the rest of your energy to give Democrats a majority.
November 10, 2025 at 4:29 AM
As always, it's the White people up in arms 10 Dems voted for the government to reopen, forcing the House to come back to session. Allowing people NOT to go hungry while forcing a vote for ACA expansion. Y'all are the reason we are in this mess in the first place.

I'm old enough to remember when David Duke ran for governor in 1991. I'm old enough to remember when he used racist tropes regarding welfare to gain votes. The dude in ME is just like Duke. But some want to believe unwashed ass WM are still saviors. A Nazi is a Nazi despite hygiene status.

People out here being chaos agents won't talk about the WHY Dems have to fall in line. 40% of citizens did not vote for purity reasons. @tiffmc1013.bsky.social and I were not part of that. We voted. We knew what was on the line. MVP told you in 107 days.
Everyone who has been ranting online about House Dems not doing anything:

They're doing something. It has very real consequences. Find a local food bank and ask how you can help. Maybe donate some money or canned goods this week.

House Dems need to stand firm and we all need to help them.
Due to Republicans' unwillingness to negotiate on healthcare costs and reopen the gov't, it is likely that QUEST cards will become inactive on November 1st - even if funds remain in your account.

November benefits will be delayed for all participants - even if the shutdown is resolved this week.
