Ireland has intervened in SA v Israel.

Ireland argues:
1. The mental element of the crime should include recklessness.
2. One should not overlook the "in part" element of Art II.
3. The balance of evidence standard should apply at least to matters concerning State responsibility.

Belgium's intervention in The Gambia v Myanmar on genocide is worth reading in full www.icj-cij.org/sites/defaul...

It is absurd to accuse @amnesty.org of applying double standards to Israel by eschewing an "overly cramped interpretation" of genocidal intent when critics did NOT also criticise Canada et al. who jointly argued that a "balanced approach" to finding such intent must be taken in The Gambia v Myanmar.

The only way this can be stopped is for the US and European friends to put enough collective pressure on Israel to change course.

‼️🗒️Statement by the ICC Prosecutor: “I have not seen any discernible change in conduct by Israel… those who do not comply with the law should not complain later when my Office takes action pursuant to its mandate.”

Yeah, Biden sure is having a lot of influence on Israel. That's why the Likud-run Israeli government has rebuffed every single bit of advice the US has offered, even while accepting all the money and weapons.
