They apparently work fine in Scandinavian countries so should be able to cope with our coldest days.

Did you get into the whole discussion about how ripe they need to be? Some people like them fairly green. I want them yellow and would rather not eat them until they are at this stage:

Great drama and scale. Could be one of those “how many triangles” can you see and it’s definitely more than 9 3/4.

Echoes of Mark Twain — 'I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.'

Hard to argue with the logic of that.

So sorry to hear that Crystal.

That would make a good book itself.

People will be giving chocolate teapots one star reviews because they don’t hold hot tea for long enough to brew.

Clearly so hard that I used the word still twice in that sentence. 😆

I wonder what the person who connected the very first consumer device (a coffee pot I believe) to the internet back in the early days before even the web existed would think 🤔

So many things require an app to use these days. Our EV charger has an app which is being decommissioned imminently. Fortunately the app provider is making sure the charger is connected once the app has gone, but we are at the mercy of the apps and WiFi and all the necessary backing servers.
