The HAWC gamma-ray observatory was inaugurated on equinox day 2015, today ten years ago. One of the largest Mexico - USA scientific ventures, now with colleagues from Europe and Asia, HAWC is located at 4100m inside the Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba, in the Mexican central high plateau.
