On a hunt for the deepest courtyard building in all of Chicago.
Current clubhouse leader is this ~275 footer at Addison & LSD. Anyone got longer?

CTA's rail system sees a few recurring ridership spikes each year driven by big events downtown.

When October '25 data comes through, I expect to see the Marathon (10/12) and No Kings Rally (10/18) drive a sustained peak in post-covid ridership.

The three N/NW Metra lines (UP-N, UP-NW, MD-N) with weekend service are consistently showing the best recovery to their pre-covid ridership levels.
Meanwhile the NCS, servicing the same area M-F only, is the least recovered line in the system.

As of the budget release, the Dept of Finance has collected $650k in fines, a tad over 50% of the total fines issued.

Expect these figures to balloon next year, as the Mayor's initial budget proposal forecasts $44 million in fines, expanding scope to capture meter and street cleaning violations.

Chicago Smart Streets data through the end of September. This is the last full month of data before an expanded rollout of the bus-mounted cameras, as announced in October.

CTA is still full steam ahead on staffing, adding 15 rail operators and 38 bus drivers in September.

CTA taking their next big step in the smart streets pilot. Up until now, fines had mainly been coming from just 4 cameras that I believe are tied to Dept of Finance vehicles.

Wells to Ping Tom through the 78 is a (semi) accessible bike route right now. Worried the plaque is going to be multiple mayors old by the time the road actually opens.
