FBRef was not only a brilliant resource generally, it made so much WoSo data available that couldn’t be found elsewhere. Absolutely gutting for fans, data nerds, and those of us who feel these things shouldn’t merely be the preserve of people with lots of money

This is so sad, my friends and I spent a stupid amount of time browsing FBref. A real loss.
This really sucks, grateful for what FBref has done for soccer

Napoli drawing is awful for Chels, means they’ve got to win to ensure they qualify for the playoff round ffs.

Wonder if Town are still in the market this January, think we could still do with another midfielder and a full back to replace Munroe. #stfc

Guess we’re not getting that big day out then. Full focus on the league is probably best for us, ultimately promotion is the goal but god does it sting to have got this far with no big tie. #stfc

The Knicks should put up a banner for the NBA cup before the first game after the all star break and just hope that fixes the curse placed upon the team. We’re sorry basketball gods, please forgive us.

Premier league needs to adapt here, Dalot challenge is obviously a red to anyone who’s played the game. The Sarr challenge mentioned in the piece was a blatant red as well but was overlooked at the time because the intervention was about the subsequent Spurs goal.
Anthony Taylor would have shown Diogo Dalot a red card in the Champions League.

But not in the Premier League.

A look at the merits of a red card and how such challenges are judged through VAR.
