Yeah, this reads more like it has been in the works for a while and they were waiting for things to settle down before dropping it.

I understand it can be frustrating, but we have to be careful to not turn this into another "team". Finding a new scapegoat is not the way to break the cycle.

We can share our thoughts and help people learn, but we cannot force anyone to understand, that's something they have to do themselves.

I would just be very cautious about this line of thinking as it can lead to inaction and procrastination. Not saying this is what you are doing now tho, but you are always gonna be more knowledgeable in the future and there is always more to learn and understand.

Exactly, at this point playing rain maker is like asking melee players to play Coin Battle or Stamina Mode. It’s alright for messing around or side events, but it just doesn’t work for high level competitive play.

But still, GGs to everyone involved , from the onsite to offsite staff y’all did an amazing job, and of course ggs to the players for showing amazing games.

My roommate came back home while finals were on. She has never played the game, but I was able to explain briefly what was going on since it was zone. And while a bit lost, she was able to understand the hype and was starting to get it.

Then next game was clam.. and .. yeah .. she just left.

And in this case, the accused has not shared their side of the story yet beyond denying the claim, at least publicly.

But still.. posting that stuff is really not ideal. Personally, I would have preferred an audit done by a neutral third party. Although, probably not realistic for a volunteer org.

It seems like you can never be judged innocent unless you post a google doc addressing everything. Guilty until proven innocent.
