ahhhh that makes sense . in that case my suggestion is something like a yellow/tan/beige background with brown lines … its the most neutral imo :}

i change my canvas / line colours all the time … it is solely kind of just based on vibes for me . light coloured bg and darker + slightly hue shifted pen colour and the colour can be anything my heart desires
